New Hot Diggity! House Provides Home-Away-from-Home for Pets

Portland’s leading pet sitting company opens new Hot Diggity! House, provides kennel-free, in-home boarding option for more than 500 customers

PORTLAND, Ore., April 28, 2010 – - Hot Diggity! Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Services, the nation’s only dog walking and pet sitting company to offer guaranteed availability, today announced its new Hot Diggity! House. The House is located in NE Portland, just 10 minutes from Portland International Airport, and provides 24/7 kennel-free boarding in a home-based environment.

The Hot Diggity! House has been established in response to an increasing number of requests from Hot Diggity!’s more than 500 customers who wanted kennel- and cage-free in-home boarding for their pets. The Hot Diggity! Dog House delivers on these requirements and offers its animal guests opportunities to roam throughout the house, sleep in their crates, or even sleep in bed with other animals or the pet sitters.

“Hot Diggity! was founded on the basic premise that people should never have to worry about the well-being of their pets when away from home. The new Hot Diggity! House gives us an opportunity to build on our unique set of services, including guaranteed availability, to ensure that level of confidence for our customers is sustained,” said April Sunrise, founder and operating manager, Hot Diggity!

The House will host no more than five dogs at a time and includes at least one leash walk every day. It also includes access to the fenced backyard and a dedicated staff evenings and weekends to stay with the pups. Optional services during each pet’s stay include being “office dog” of the day, taking a bath and going for runs and/or hikes.

Hot Diggity! Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Services offers a variety of services, including drop-in or overnight pet sitting (at the owner’s home or at the Hot Diggity! House), dog walking in 15-minute, 30-minute, 45-minute or 60-minute walks, dog running and pet taxi services. Dog walking is available seven days a week and is provided as a one-on-one service with one of our staff; however, if customers prefer their dogs to have company on their walks, Hot Diggity! will arrange it.
