Xandra Green Xandra Green Unless we are talking about spiders, Xandra has a love for just about all living creatures. This love was discovered when Xandra was a child and spent summers hiking and camping in the Olympics and Cascades, as well as attending horse camps all over Seattle. These activities kept her need for animals satiated until she found her college dorm room was a little too small for a horse. In answer to this problem; she got a rat and the two graduated from the University of Oregon. Now Xandra channels her animal love through the Hot Diggity! cliental as well as her own two dogs, Riley, and Millie. Xandra Serves as the Operations Manager of our Hot Diggity! Seattle location.
Katie McKellar Katie grew up in the beautiful states of Colorado and Missouri. Having recently received a BFA in Theatre arts, Katie decided that it was time for an adventure in the awesome city of Seattle. Growing up as an only child, Katie grew to absolutely love and cherish her doggies and the company they bring with them. Unfortunately, this grand adventure in the west meant that Katie had to move over 2,000 miles from her precious dogs, but she has not lost her love for all wonderful animals. She is very excited to be working with such a fantastic company and looks forward to meeting all of the fun-filled animals in the Seattle area.
Joy Snow Joy is a native Seattlite that has worked with animals most her adult life. She began her career in animal welfare as a technician at PAWS Animal Shelter. Several years later she decided she wanted to expand her knowledge and learn about the medical needs of dogs and cats. Joy began working as a veterinary assistant for a local emergency and critical care hospital in Seattle. One of her greatest achievements and highlights of her career was deploying to New Orleans post -Hurricane Katrina. There she worked in the field to find those animals left behind, assisted in healing injuries, and eventually saw that they were reunited with their owners. She has four cats between the ages of 9 months and 9 years: Loki, Miles, Lizzie, and Munch. In her free time she enjoys knitting, reading, and hiking.
Katherine White Katherine, also known by many as Kat, grew up in sunny California and spent many summers and winters in rural Montana. She has surrounded herself with animals throughout her life, never going more than a few days without them until attending the University of Washington. Even then, she took to visiting shelters and adoption centers to love on their dogs and cats. While she comes equipped with an English degree, she has decided to pursue a hands-on career with animals.
